For most of his life, Rick Andreoli, a Montreal native, has had a burning passion for his town’s colorful history. He has spent many of his best years researching the city’s rich history.

Montreal has an 800-year history, which means that there is an abundance of things that Rick Andreoli can write about. From the fascinating early years of European contact with Jacques Cartier to the golden era of fur trading brought about by the North West Company to Montreal’s officially becoming a city and to many more important historical events in the 20^th and 21^st centuries, Rick Andreoli shares some of the most magnificent tidbits about his favorite place in the world.
