Richard Ramsawak

Hello, my name is Dr. Richard Ramsawak, and I am a Senior Lecturer based at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University - Vietnam. I am an applied economist and development economist with a special interest in the urban growth of small and mid-sized cities, the growth of industrial clusters, and the economics of social networks. More recently, I have been expanding my research interests to include the use of big data and machine learning to address key development challenges related to COVID-19, crime, health, and technology adoption. 

I am affiliated with the Institute of  Strategy and Competitiveness of Harvard Business School and member of the American Economics Association (AEA) and Urban Economics  Association
