Rick was a secondary school teacher for more than thirty years, spending much of that time as the head of a special art program. He was the program’s designated “Swiss Army Knife” and had the opportunity to teach many specialty courses (and sub skills) including drawing and painting, sculpture, cartooning, interior design, pottery, graphic design, printmaking, illustration, animation, and traditional chemical as well as digital photography.
Now retired from teaching, today Rick spends as much time as possible prowling trout streams with a fly rod in one hand and a waterproof camera in the other. Combining this interest with his passion for playing with paint, has led him to working with landscape.
