This project focuses on evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the hiring process using three major metrics:
Time to Hire (TTH)
Cost of Hire
Quality of Hire (QOH)
Using these, I identified trends, bottlenecks, and improvement areas to optimize HR performance.
(Data & visuals from HR Analytics Report 2025)
TOOLS USED:
Excel: Data cleaning, formulas, pivot tables, dashboards
Visualization: Charts, trend lines, KPI indicators
HR Analytics Metrics: TTH, COH, QOH framework
Cleaned and processed raw HR dataset
Calculated TTH, Cost of Hire, QOH
Created charts for quarterly trends
Compared department-wise performance
Analyzed cost-to-quality relationship
Suggested improvements based on insights
SOME SNAPSHOTS:
After analyzing the Time, Cost, and Quality of Hire metrics, I found that the hiring process has clear improvement opportunities. The data showed major strengths in certain departments like Sales and Marketing, while also revealing issues such as rising time-to-hire and a sharp drop in quality during Q4.
From this analysis, I concluded that optimizing sourcing channels, standardizing interview quality, and shifting budget toward high-ROI platforms can significantly improve recruitment efficiency. Implementing these insights will lead to faster hiring, lower cost, and better-quality candidates.
