🚨 Calling all Rice undergraduates interested in Human Factors🚨
Rice HFES is looking for an Undergraduate Liaison to join the Rice HFES Student Chapter Executive Council!
The Undergraduate Liaison will:
☑️ Represent undergraduate student interests at council meetings
☑️ Facilitate communication between undergrads and the Executive Council
☑️ Collaborate with the Secretary, Communications Director, and Program Managers to promote human factors to undergraduates
☑️ Attend council meetings every other week
This is a great opportunity to hone your human factors knowledge and build real leadership experience, all while representing your peers in the Rice community!

Welcome to the '26-'27 academic year!
Join us this Friday, August 28th at 12:30 p.m. to kick off the fall semester with Rice HFES! We’ll be meeting in the new Psychology Graduate Study Lounge in Rm 401, Sewall Hall*. There will be free pizza & drinks for all while supplies last! Come have a free lunch on Rice HFES to welcome the first-year HFHCI students, meet the new EBoard, and chat about what you’d like to see from Rice HFES this year! All are welcome 🍕
[*] Please note that this is the 4th floor on the North wing of Sewall Hall. This side of the building faces the quad, and can only be accessed via the stairs/elevator on this side of the building (by classrooms 301-309). This is not the same 4th floor wing where the Howell Conference room is located.

Join us for the Rice HFES Graduation Celebration on Monday, April 27th! 🎓
Come celebrate our graduating human factors students over pizza and cake at Valhalla, starting at 12:00 PM.
This is a wonderful opportunity to honor the hard work and achievements of our graduating members, connect with fellow students and faculty, and send off our grads in true Rice HFES fashion — with good food and great company!
The event is open to all Rice students and faculty, so bring your friends and come ready to celebrate. 🎂
Whether you've been with HFES since day one or are just getting involved, this is a send-off you won't want to miss. We hope to see you there! 🦉✨
