Take a break with Rice HFES at the next installment of our Boba Break series—grab a free drink and hear from a leading human factors expert about their career and research.
Join us on Tuesday, March 31 from 4–5 PM at the Rice University Welcome Center for an in-person talk with Dr. Eduardo Salas, Allyn R. & Gladys M. Cline Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences and Associate Vice President for Research, Collaborative Engagement and Team Science at Rice University.
Free boba will be available on a first come, first served basis, so arrive early, bring a friend, and enjoy a refreshing break while connecting with the HFES community. 🧋
Join us for an exclusive visit to NASA’s Johnson Space Center on March 28, 2026! Spend the day exploring the visitor center and learning more about human factors in space environments.
We’ll depart together by bus at 9 AM from the Sewall Hall Welcome Center, so arrive a few minutes early to check in and get settled. Breakfast will be provided. The bus is expected to return to campus at 3 PM.
Registration is FREE and open to all Rice students and faculty, but space is limited to 25 participants, so be sure to reserve your spot soon!🔗
