My name is Riccardo Tosi and I am a postdoc fellow at the University of Duisburg-Essen for the Winter Semester 2025/2026.
I have recently completed my PhD at the University of Duisburg-Essen under the supervision of Johannes Sprang in the Research Training Group of the GRK 2553 founded by the DFG.
My main research interests revolve around irrationality proofs for multiple zeta values and special values of L-functions as well as hyperplane arrangements and their periods. I also work in trascendental number theory, especially topics related to algebraic independence of values of exponential, elliptic and abelian functions.
And yes, in case you were wondering, the orchids in the header are mine :-)
