Riccardo La Grassa, Ph.D.
He has a 3year PostDoc position at INAF-OAPD working on the analysis of three-dimensional data of planetary surfaces using deep learning techniques in the processing of satellite data information with particular attention to classification, super resolution, object detection and data compression. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and Mathematics of Computation and his research activity focuses on deep learning applied in Computer Vision and Remote Sensing. He has published in various journals and conferences in the areas indicated above. In past, he worked for several Counsil of Research as collaborator (CNR IAMC, CNR ITD, CNR ISSIA, CNR IREA, CNR IFN) and for University of Essex (UK) and, he collaborated with 7Pixel company and other external projects.
