"The biggest challenge of the day is:
how to bring about a revolution of the heart,
a revolution that has to start with each one of us."
- Dorothy Day
The Providence Catholic Worker Development Group is working to establish a house of hospitality in the Smith Hill Neighborhood of Providence. In partnership with the outreach ministries of St. Patrick’s parish (Mary House Meal Kitchen, Food Pantry, and Food Truck), the PCWDG seeks to develop the means to offer temporary housing to at least eight women, as well as daytime gathering space for others. We hope to embody a Catholic Worker vision of prayer, study, and action.
