For Educators, Librarians & Book Clubs
Resources, author visits, and curriculum support
Ricardo Gómez's fiction is used in middle schools, high schools, university courses, and public library programs across the United States. Both YA series are designed to support classroom discussion of history, critical thinking, media literacy, and civic identity.
The Bookmark Chronicles is ideal for grades 5–9 in history, English Language Arts, and media literacy contexts. The series directly addresses book banning, censorship, the history of information control, and — in later volumes — AI-generated disinformation and deepfakes. Discussion is rich and the stakes feel immediate to young readers.

The Temporal Witnesses series (8 volumes) is structured so each volume stands alone, making it flexible for independent reading, small group, or whole class use. The series builds historical empathy and asks students to consider how individual choices shape historical outcomes.
