The RIAEA Bi-Annual State Conference brings together teachers, preservice students, college and university professors, art museum educators, teaching artists, and researchers to build community and generate new insights into issues, research, and practices affecting visual arts and design education. 

This year's theme is Creative Horizons: New Visions of Artistic Expression! In a world with ever expanding technologies and media, artists are finding new and exciting ways to express themselves.
