Welcome to my homepage! I am a Materials and Process Engineer at Airbus India.
I received my Ph.D. in 2024 from the Department of Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. I was advised by Prof. Suryasarathi Bose. My research at IISc was funded by the Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF), which I was awarded in 2020.
I was also a visiting graduate researcher at the Henry Samueli School of Engineering, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I was hosted at UCLA by Prof. Eric M.V. Hoek. My visit was funded by the Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research (FNDR) Fellowship, which I was awarded for the 2023-2024 academic session.
My research interests span all aspects of structure-property relationships in polymers. I am broadly interested in the following technical areas: water remediation, polymer nanocomposites, EMI shielding, sustainability, elastomers, plastics, and nanotechnology.
I completed my M.Tech in Polymer Science and Technology at University College of Science, Technology and Agriculture (class of 2019). Prior to that, I completed my Post B.Sc B.Tech in Polymer Science and Technology at University College of Science, Technology and Agriculture (class of 2017) and my B.Sc (Hons.) in Chemistry at St. Xavier's College, Kolkata (class of 2014).
