Your heartbeat is controlled by electrical signals traveling across the heart. But anyone with severe heart failure is at risk of those signals getting interrupted. We aim to prevent that disruption - we want those signals to continue to flow, even if the heart has some damage.

Although it's an implant, it's not a complex one - no intricate electrical components or moving parts. The best part is that for patients we know are at high risk, it can be put in at the same time as a procedure to put in a defibrillator (ICD) - which would happen anyways.
