Tryouts & Registration

Hello Softball Families! We do hope your summer has been going well. Can you believe it is softball time again?

My name is Coach Todd Herrington and I am happy to announce the continuation of our Rhyne Park Renegades. I am looking for experienced girls with positive attitudes to come and try out. We will have two try-outs on July 29th and 31st, 2021 on field 2 at Rhyne Park. Try-outs will begin at 6pm and end by 8pm on the 29th and will begin at 10 am and end at 12 pm on the 31st. Below you will find a link to fill out registration information online. Please try to attend both try-outs.

Please be at the field 15 minutes prior to the try-out to allow your player time to stretch and warm up before the try-out begins.

Please understand, this is not a recreational level ball team. This team is for girls with softball experience and a yearning for more game time. This is a high level of commitment. Practice attendance is crucial and mandatory to play. Tournaments will be approximately every other weekend starting October with no less than 4 games per tournament. Travel will be primarily to the Cobb and Douglas county areas. There is also a greater financial commitment (see link below to fee schedule). More details will be handed out after the team is announced. Please understand that this try out does not guarantee a spot on the team. My hope is that if your child does not make it, they will continue to play rec league with Rhyne Park in order to improve their skills.
