Meet Our Team!
"My name is Hasini, and I am a sophomore at Rouse. My favorite activity to do in my free time is dance. Psychology is a topic that I am really passionate about, so I’m excited to educate you guys about the fascinating world within our brains."
We are a dedicated team of sophomores from Rouse High School in Leander, Texas, extremely passionate about promoting mental health topics, specifically, dissociative identity disorder (DID).
Through weekly posts and interactive activities, we aim to educate others, support our community, and encourage open, informed conversations about mental health.
We took meetings with Mrs. Vicki Flam, our school Psychology teacher. Mrs. Flam has a masters in Psychology as well as extensive teaching experience, which allowed her to guide us through important factors such as mental health education, trauma-informed perspectives, and how to present sensitive topics accurately and respectfully. Her guidance was extremely helpful, as it introduced us to new insights and strengthened our understandings and approach to this topic.
