The material is produced by a private label paint manufacture by the name of Nationwide Coatings. This company is being investigated for false and misleading claims, taking advantage of elderly homeowners with claims of "Never Painting Again" as well as fraudulent claims of energy efficiency. Depending the individual state law, many of the Rhino Shield dealers also commit numerous counts of contractor fraud by misrepresenting themselves as providing a roofing solution that would extend the life of a roof by up to 10 years. In many states it is illegal to provide roofing products which provide any warranty for a roof product unless you are a state certified or registered roofing contractor.
This company makes claims like "Proven wall and roof ceramic coating solutions to protect your commercial building including apartments, condos, hotels, warehouses, churches, roofs and more"
This company was built on a fraudulent platform by a person known to start, sell or close coating companies, even though Steve Dominique who was the founder has recently sold the company, the same fraudulent statements and marketing ploys are being used across the country.
This is not Steve Dominique's first coating endeavor, he was sued by many different parties. It is popular belief these lawsuits were the reason he shut that business down and decided to launch Rhino Shield. Several year go by and Rhino Shield changes their corporate name to AMCOAT in an attempt to expand its product offerings.
