In the beginning, there was the Upper Planes, known to the mortals as Heaven. It was inhabited by 5 gods
Weya, Goddess of Air
Moto, God of Fire
Ziko, God of Earth
Madzi, Goddess of Water
Chiso, God of Chaos
They created life as we know it, populating The Mid Planes with life, plants and animals and civilizations. For nearly 10,000 years, everything was fine. But Chiso got bored, and decided to teach the peaceful Goblins violence, and send them to villages. The other gods attacked Chiso, and cut him into pieces, then threw him into a pocket dimension. Legends say Chiso used his dying power to create a rot that killed the Gods and filled The Upper Planes, and is now spreading to the Lower Planes as a fog that turns whatever it touches into horrid, violent monsters.
One of the last Angels, Dominion, was sent down to Earth by Weya, the last surviving Goddess, to kill the plagued beasts in order to try and stop the spread. Now, Dominion is dying, and has called out for the mightiest adventurers in the land to finish his quest.
