TSA offers competitions in all technology pathways: Graphics, AVTF, Engineering, STEM, and others.
The Chapter Officer Retreat for Excellence (CORE) program is designed to provide Georgia TSA local chapter officers with an opportunity to develop interpersonal and leadership skills, gain necessary knowledge and abilities to carry out the duties of their individual offices, prepare a Chapter Program of Work for the upcoming year and bond with their fellow officers, in preparation to lead their respective chapters the remainder of the year.
This event is held at Reaves Arena at the Georgia National Fair Grounds in Perry, Georgia on October 6, 2025. At Tech Day students have the opportunity to compete in various competitions to win Fair Award Ribbons and cash awards for themselves and their chapter. A GATSA rally helps get students pumped up and then compete in 11 uniquely GA TSA contests! In addition, attendees have the opportunity to purchase discounted, all-day ride passes to enjoy the fair.
Georgia TSA is excited to bring back the TSA/CTSO Rally at Six Flags for its second year, building on the success of last year’s pilot event. This unique experience blends the excitement of an amusement park with the competitive spirit of TSA. Students will showcase their skills in engineering, design, research, and leadership through a variety of competitions. Their achievements will then be celebrated at the rally and recognition ceremony, where top competitors will be honored for their outstanding work. The day is a chance to unite, reflect on innovation and teamwork, and celebrate TSA chapter pride in a thrilling environment.
Our annual Fall Leadership Conference is designed to provide Georgia TSA members and advisors the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, communication, and team building skills by attending hands-on workshops, seminars and general sessions. This conference also provides for chapter members and advisors to gain knowledge and skills in relation to our competitive events Program by attending hands on workshops, seminars, and sessions during our Technical Sessions. The Statesman Award Test is included in conference registration. In addition, we have seven signature events on site, a VEX State Qualifier Tournament, a VEX IQ Tournament, a Georgia TSA Electric Vehicle Rally for two battery classes, The Island Video Contest and of course FLC wouldn’t be complete without our iconic Armada Cardboard Boat Race.
Georgia TSA's annual culminating state conference of leadership development and competitive events provides our student members opportunities beyond the traditional classroom/laboratory setting which add to their increased knowledge and understanding of an ever- changing technical world. During our Competitive Events Program, GA TSA provides our members with an outlet to exhibit their knowledge and skills through our competitive events and earn awards.
TSA members throughout the nation all agree that for them, the highlight of the school year is unquestionably the annual national conference. The TSA national conference is packed with competitive events and challenging activities that foster personal growth and leadership development. Each year TSA members are offered these and many more opportunities at the national conference.
