Help Us Design a Better Way for Local Businesses and RGU Students to Work Together

We are a team of four computing students at Robert Gordon University exploring a simple idea: short, flexible, degree-related projects where university students support small local businesses.

Executive Summary

Many small businesses need help with things like digital tools, data automation, web design, research, or software development – but don't often lack the time or budget to hire someone long-term.

At the same time, students often struggle to find meaningful work experience related to their degree.

Our assignment explores whether short well-defined projects could connect these two needs– helping small businesses access useful skills while giving students valuable real-world experience.
