This was a team project for one of Northeastern’s required first year engineering courses. The Rube Goldberg Machine (RGM) was split up into sections between our entire class. The goal was to achieve a simple task through extravagant means. Our classes voted on an office theme for our project.
We were the start of our project so our team had to hand it off to Team B. We did this by rolling a wheel and axle down a binder which triggered the following team’s sensor.
Our entire class presented our project at the Engineering Exposition. As a team, our first run had to be interfered with twice, our second run was once, and our final run we didn't have to touch!
