While the Scientist Class can revive fallen heroes and restore Def Gauge, the Battle-Leader Class can buff Speed to self and allies and decrease the Def Gauge of enemies. Every Accretian Specialist can use advanced Grenade Launchers, which allow debuffing of enemies (for example at Level 50+ Specs have the ability to "Net" - restricting enemies movement completely - or "Virus" to make their HP potions ineffective).
