Everyday Talk aims to encourage informal political conversation on important topics by addressing these issues in an accessible way. The term "everyday talk" comes from Jane Mansbridge's 1999 essay, which argues that informal political conversations can strengthen democracy as "people come to understand better what they want and need, individually as well as collectively."
