Lettering Criteria
All athletes eligible for receiving a letter will …
Have good practice attendance. Athletes are not eligible if they miss excessive amounts of practice (excused or unexcused)
Have good meet attendance. Athletes are not eligible if they miss a lot of meets for any reason.
Keep a good academic standing
Criteria for Earning a Varsity Letter
Perform at the A Standard level in one event
Perform at the B Standard level in two events
Score in any Individual Event at Varsity Conference, Regionals, or Sectionals. Or by competing on a relay team that places in the top three in one of these meets.
Win any Individual Event at JV Conference or post a time/mark that would have scored in the Varsity meet.
A letter may also be awarded at the Coaches’ Discretion
