Hey There! 👋
I'm Rainier, I'm a licensed physiotherapist, educator, researcher, hobbyist, and lifelong learner.
I'm Rainier, I'm a licensed physiotherapist, educator, researcher, hobbyist, and lifelong learner.
I graduated BS Physical Therapy from UP Manila-College of Allied Medical Professions in 2018. I received my physiotherapy license the following year and I am currently working on my Master's thesis.
I have worked as a physiotherapist in both in-patient and out-patient settings. Working closely with patients and the healthcare team, my focus is on improving functional outcomes and quality of life through evidence-based care.
My supervisory roles include community-based rehabilitation, research, as well as teaching. I have handled PT interns both as a clinical supervisor and as a mentor, alongside my work as a professor.

I’m a licensed physiotherapist with a professional life that grown to include teaching, research, and a continuing interest in clinical practice.Â
As an educator, I am interested in the application of best evidence, how we assess clinical practice, and how technology can enhance PT education to improve patient outcomes.Â
Outside of work, you can usually catch me photographing tiny plastic people, playing pickleball, or getting heavily invested in a video game.
I have handled courses such as anatomy, physiology, neuroanatomy, gross anatomy, introduction to physical therapy, and evidence-based practice.Â
I have collaborated with researchers from all over the world, and my love for research has led me to places I never thought I could visit, from Bali to Tokyo.Â
I find fulfillment in helping PT students and interns become the best physiotherapist they could be. Whether it be through clinical practice, research, or education.
