BIOGRAPHY

Junghwan Han was born in Daegu, Korea in 1977. He received the B. S. degree (with highest honors) from Inha University, Incheon, Korea, in 2002, the M. S. degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2004, and the Ph. D. degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007, all in electrical engineering. From 2008 to 2010, he was with Qualcomm Inc., Santa Clara, CA, where he designed and developed various CMOS RF front-end circuits for WLAN and GPS applications. From 2010 to 2017, he was senior and principle engineer the Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Hwasung, Korea. He has been involved with the development of CMOS transceivers for several cellular applications including GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G standards. Since 2017, he joined the department of Radio Science and Information Communication Engineering at Chungnam National University, Daejeon, Korea, where he is currently an assistant professor. His research interests include low-power analog and RF integrated circuit and system design for wired and wireless communication systems.

Dr. Han was a recipient of the best paper award from IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits for 2008.
