RezKidz is on Sundays at 9:45am. Check in starts at 9:30am.
RezKidz is a part of Resurrection Church's Kids Ministries located at 48 Manor Street, Bakersfield, CA 93308.
RezKidz is for students from 3 months old to 5th grade.
Students are split into 5 main groups:
Nursery consists of 3 months old - 2 years old
3s-TK are in one class
Kinder and 1st graders are in one class
2nd and 3rd graders are in one class
4th and 5th graders are in one class
Once a student turns 3 years old they are allowed to enter the 3 year old class, even if it is part way through the school year. Some 2 years olds may be eligible to enter the 3s class early on a case by case basis as deemed appropriate collectively by the nursery workers, 3s' teachers, RezKidz coordinator, and parents.
We follow the same eligibility requirements as the public school system. Whether or not a student is actually enrolled in Kindergarten, if they meet the Kindergarten age requirements they will be put in the Kindergarten class on graduation day at the end of May.
Level UP is on Wednesdays from 6:15pm-7:45pm. Check in starts at 6pm.

This year the Level Up Theme is SERVICE! Apart from their individual class curriculums, students will also be learning what it means to serve one another as the Body of Christ. To do this, students will be participating in activities to serve each other and Resurrection Church as a whole!
Level UP is for students from 3 months old to 5th grade.

Level 1 consists of 1st and 2nd graders

Whether or not a student is actually enrolled in TK, if they meet the TK age requirements they will be put in the TK class at the beginning of the Level UP year. However, students who turn 4 after the cut off date will not be able to move up to the TK class mid-year.

When you check in your student, they will get a printed name tag and you will get a printed claim tag with randome letters and numbers that match a number on your student's name tag. When you come to pick up your student you must present the claim tag (or a picture of the tag) and the teacher must verify that it matches your student's nametag before we can release your student to you. If you misplaced your claim tag, you will need to present a photo ID and get another claim tag printed at the check in station.

YES! Per the State of California regulations, all volunteers that work with kids on Sundays or Wednesdays are Live Scanned (finger printed) and must pass background checks.
YES!! We are always in need of more volunteers!
All volunteers should have a desire to help the next generation grow in Christ!
Additionally, per the State of California's requirements, all of our volunteers must get fingerprinted (our church covers the cost) and take some mandated reporter and child abuse training (also provided by the church).
