Biography:

Dr. Zamani completed his B.Sc. from the Sharif University of Technology, M.Sc. from the Isfahan University of Technology, and Ph.D. from the Tarbiat Modares University, Iran all with honors. He was included in the 2021 Publons list of the top 1% best reviewer and researchers in the field of engineering in the world. He was the recipient of the Outstanding Reviewer Award from many journals, e.g., Applied Energy, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Energies. He was the guest editor of smart cities. He has also performed more than 500 reviews for highly prestigious journals, including IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Access, IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, IET Renewable Power Generation, IET Smart Grid, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Applied Energy, International Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems. He has participated in more than 10 industrial projects. His major research interests are Smart Grid, Renewable Energy, Decentralized Decision Making, Transactive Energy, Power System Planning and Operation, Power System Protection, HVDC Systems, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence.
