During my time at The Shield (USI Student Newspaper) I learned valuable leasons about the journalism world especially in sports. It was important for me to get articles written on time in addition to keeping up with my course work. It also taught me how to work better as a team as every month we would have physical releases which required teamwork to complete on time. All of these lessons culminated in articles that I am very proud of which can be read below.
