This Privacy Policy describes how Rewrite AI ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Rewrite AI does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
When you use the app, the following data may be processed:
Text Content: The text you enter for rewriting is sent to a third-party AI service (OpenAI) for processing. This text is sent securely and is not stored on our servers. Please do not enter sensitive personal information such as passwords, financial data, or confidential information into the app.
Usage Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage data such as which features are used, how often the app is opened, and general app performance metrics. This data does not identify you personally.
Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and general location data to serve relevant ads. This data is handled by Google according to their privacy policies.
Device Information: A randomly generated device identifier (UUID) is created and stored locally on your device to manage daily usage limits. This identifier is not linked to your personal identity.

Rewrite AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information processed through the app. Text data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS). However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
7. Your Choices
You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the app. You can clear your local rewrite history at any time within the app. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
