Revolutionary Narratives: A U.S. Semiquincentennial Toolkit for Historic Sites and Museums aims to equip historical and cultural institutions with the tools to pursue a robust and meaningful Semiquincentennial. It places special emphasis on promoting inclusive, expansive, and reflective research, collections and curation, and interpretation at historic sites and museums. This toolkit offers a practical framework for conceptualizing, planning, and evaluating participation in the U.S. Semiquincentennial and beyond.

Revolutionary Narratives: Stories for a Reflective, Inclusive, and Expansive 250th Commemoration

Forthcoming

A book of collected essays, titled Revolutionary Narratives: Stories for a Reflective, Inclusive, and Expansive 250th Commemoration, will highlight innovation and public engagement in the history, scholarship, curation and interpretation of objects and landscapes of the Revolutionary Era (1750-1830). The book will feature essays from Canada to California to the Caribbean, embracing an inclusive and expansive approach to the U.S. Semiquincentennial.
