This torch has three small little battery power lights on the side of the lamp. These little blue lights come on when you turn on the unit for a short period and has six settings depending on how the battery is charged so you can tell within about 20% of where you are at. The final little flashing light indicates you are down to the last 10%.

The light will always turn back on to the last setting which is a handy feature. There is also a power tap button on the right hand side of the headlamp that will instantly take the light to the maximum on that particular mode by a single tap to the correct location on the lamp housing. A second tap returns the lighting to where it was. This is quite handy when you have it set on low and want maximum power.

Anyway, While War for Cybertron (WfC) was a decent, Fall of Cybertron (FoC) took the groundwork, turned it up to 11 and gave us not only a great Transformers game but a great game overall. However, both games gave some great character designs that translated into pretty blah toys. I mean not as bad the first few years of Bayverse toys, but still pretty meh Yeah some were decent, such as the Megatron and Optimus Prime WfC, but the majority of them turned out pretty bad, such as Grimlock. It took third party Planet X to take that brilliant in game design and translate it to plastic, at a lower end Masterpiece price, but it was worth it, being my favourite Grimlock and third-party toy of all time, as seen in my review.

I used my EMPs in the Canadian Rockies this last week for the first time in varied terrain, from 12 inch powder to freshly groomed trails. The skiboards exceeded my expectations and instilled confidence to try more challenging terrain.

Snowplanet: Although a bit repetitive (one straight slope) it was probably the best place to learn and it also had a decent sized jump and a few rails, the only other problem was it is only about 200m long and so the runs dont last very long, but it was still really cool.

Graphically Re-Volt is very impressive. I played the PC version to death last year and the Dreamcast is a wonderfully complete conversion. The sense of scale is very precise and your surroundings feel as though they are the right shape and size. Unlike other titles of its ilk, the cars don't look out of place due to their size imbalance. You couldn't mistake them for real cars, they're definitely R/C. The radio aerial flaps in the wind and they zoom around with the remarkable acceleration found in real R/C engines. As the cars swish and swoosh through the various environments, they reflect perfectly on the buffed up wooden floor and project slight shadows on the way. The lighting is pre-rendered, and the graphics are hardly Soul Calibur, but Re-Volt is still one of the better looking Dreamcast titles.

Re-Volt boasts a lot of replay value. I spent inumerable hours completing the PC version and felt right at home again on the Dreamcast. With 5 different single play modes, including 4 cups and the stunt arena, the game is full of action. There's even a track editor to create and save your own arenas to the memory cards. This has to be a first for console games - I can't remember the last time that a console game included its own level editing facilities. Interface-wise, the game is second to none. The menus are viewed from within a toy shop, with car selection taking place by literally choosing cars out of boxes. The tracks are viewed on an Overhead Projector-like setup and selected via the gamepad. As with so much in life, there are flaws. There's a steep learning curve to contend with, and the frame rate can often drop to unacceptable levels. The usually rock-hard AI is useless on user-created tracks, because the AI is specially routed for each original track. If you make extra tracks, you'd best save them for multiplayer games with your pals.

On groomed snow, these skis were a blast in the right conditions. Because these skis have a lot of rocker, I didn't have too much effective edge, and the tapered shape doesn't give you much tip and tail to work with, on the snow so I didn't feel super confident carving at first, and as I slowly pushed them more and more I found out you can take these skis quite a bit further than a ski with this amount of rocker and flex should.

Here I agree with Twig, these skis are absolutely a blast to cruise on, because of the soft and damp feeling I mentioned earlier, they're very easy to ski, and don't take as much effort to turn or ski In general as I did on the Candide 2.0 I mentioned earlier.
