Revive Nations Academy aims to fulfil the triple mission of the Quebec Education Plan (QEP): to educate, socialize and qualify students. Our school subscribes to this mission which is laid out in greater detail in the QEP.
Revive Nations Academy also has a special mission when it comes to the needs of the community that founded this school. This particular mission is rooted in the Christian faith and prioritizes sound beliefs and values in today’s world.
In context of preparing our students to become model citizens, the community asks the school:
1) To teach and instill strong values in our students which will build their character and equip them with the tools they need to make sound decisions and develop strong mental health resiliency.
2) To encourage mastering high-level knowledge in various disciplines
3) To foster a spirit of co-operation, collaboration and teamwork;
4) To teach both French and English;
5) To develop critical thinking and moral sense.
Our school aims to educate our students to become responsible, informed citizens in a diverse world. To achieve this, the first responsibility of our school is to cultivate the spirit of our students through cognitive development and mastery of knowledge in the formative years. Once students have been immersed in an environment with high moral and academic standards, they then transmit those shared values of our society in their everyday activities outside of school to the people that they meet. This prepared our youth to be responsible citizens, engaged and active in a democratic and diverse society.
Revive Nations Academy also believes in academic success for all and the Universal Design for Learning (UDL). This provides our students with opportunities to learn at their own pace and flexibility in the ways that they acquire and demonstrate skills. The UDL model does not marginalize students but it seeks to enhance the efforts of each individual to meet their specific needs.
In addition to fulfilling the basic requirements of the QEP, Revive Nations Academy is working to restore the Kingdom of God on Earth by instilling strong values, maintaining academic excellence and practicing Kingdom principles in the education that we deliver to our students.
It is our responsibility as citizens to educate our students about the essential values of our society and to teach them about how the world functions and the role that they place. As Christians, it is also our responsibility to preserve and impart our religious heritage to our children through Christian local programs, cultural and religious activities. These programs allow our youth to put to use important principles and values of Christianity.
Our school also encourages the common values of our society as we share essential values such as excellence, love of others, self-respect and for others, accountability, respect for adults, the importance of community, etc. These are all common values that we offer to our students and to which we are educating.
We are aligned with the rest of the schools in Quebec as we aim to develop a sense of citizenship in our students. Our school seeks to provide students with the finest education by teaching subjects through the lens of the Bible, while upholding high academic and moral standards. We aim to unwrap and develop the unique gifts of each student, encouraging them to use those gifts to glorify God and serve others. We believe in doing so, this will ensure the growth and development of a just, ethical, and strong society. As such, each individual must enjoy all of their rights as responsible, positive citizens involved in the daily of society.
