Family in Link File and Project File

Question: Hi Tien, why the same family in the link and project are different? Do you have any idea about this issue?

In the image below, I have 2 families which the same name B1.B1, 1 located in Project and 1 located in Link

• LHS: Project. No Pan

• RHS: Link. Have Pan

When copying family B1.B1 from the link to the project, it will same as the link but named B1.B2

Answer: Very similar to issue 8 - Object Style in Family and Project. But have a little different

Same: Show the family/object style that has already been had in the project

Different: When copy from link to project. It will create a new family with a number increase. For example, B1.B1 when copy to the project has already had B1.B1, it will become B1.B2.
