Upcoming Events/Notifications

We are working on putting together a special Martial Arts Masters Class and Ceremony Day for you towards the end of the season. Official date to come soon.

Picture Dates:

Westfield: Wednesday, April 23rd on Class Evening

Portage: Tuesday, April 28th on Class Evening

Martial Arts classes will be taking group class photos this season! You receive digital copies of these group photos as part of your Revita Membership. Individual Photo Packages are available if you would like photos of only your student(s).

Certificate Ceremony:

June 6th: 2nd Grade-12th Grade Dance Certificate Ceremony (Portage and Westfield)

June 7th: Pre K-1st Grade Dance Certificate Ceremony (Portage and Westfield)

Independent Karate Schools of America (IKSA)

"Since 1982, the Independent Karate Schools of America has been an association of Independent instructors from traditional stylists to more recently developed systems united together for education, information, safety, and protection of one's martial arts freedom and rights. Those who stand alone, teaching at their own clubs or Masters of their own systems need not feel like rebels. The IKSA offers seminars and workshops, black belt rank advancement, instructor’s certificate which includes the authority to issue rank on behalf of IKSA, international recognition of your rank, exposure to different styles of martial arts, newsletter, and internet exposure for your organization. Revita is proud to be affiliated with IKSA. All students who test at Revita to increase their Belt Level receive a Independent Karate School of America Certificate of Rank.

Increasing Belt Rank

Our Martial Arts program focuses strongly on the individual journey of each student who joins our class. Each student learns at their level and their pace alongside of their classmates. When Sensei Chris knows a student is ready to test to increase their belt level successfully, he will extend an invitation to our next Belt Testing Ceremony.

During these Belt Testing Ceremonies, representatives from IKSA as well as fellow Black Belt students from Revita's Adult Martial Arts program gather together to rally around those testing and guide them through the process. There are set pieces of knowledge, movements, and skills for each Belt Level that they will be tested on. Once they have successfully passed their test, they will be given their new belt. These events are beneficial even to students who may not be ready to test, this is a great time for them to view the process and cheer on their classmates!

Please notify the office via rebekah@revitadancestudio.com when you fill this form out so we know to check it and order your gear!

If you do not have a way of measuring your student for accurate sizing at home, come in office and we can do it with you!
