Effective date: 14th August, 2026
Revision Loop helps students save study materials and receive revision reminders. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and how users can request deletion.
Revision Loop may collect:
Account information, such as email address and display name.
Study content that users add to the app, including text notes, images, screenshots, camera photos, and PDF files.
Revision data, such as topic titles, subjects, tags, due dates, completion status, and archived topics.
Subscription status and purchase entitlement information from Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat.
Basic technical information needed for authentication, syncing, storage, subscription verification, and revision reminder delivery (including device push tokens for signed-in users).
We use data to:
Create and manage user accounts.
Store and sync study materials across the user's devices.
Schedule and display revision reminders, including optional cloud push notifications to signed-in devices.
Restore study data from the cloud when the user signs in.
Manage subscription access.
Respond to account deletion or support requests.
Revision Loop uses Supabase to provide authentication, database storage, and private file storage. Study materials uploaded by a user are stored in private storage linked to that user's account. Other users should not be able to access that data.
Revision Loop plans to use RevenueCat to manage subscription access through Apple App Store In-App Purchase and Google Play Billing. Payment processing is handled by Apple or Google. Revision Loop does not store payment card details.
Revision Loop does not sell user data. Data may be processed by service providers that are necessary for app functionality, including Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play.
Users can request account deletion from inside the Account screen. Deleting an account removes the Supabase account and associated cloud study data, including synced topics, revision records, and uploaded study files. Local data on that device is also cleared.

Cloud study data is kept while the account exists. When the account is deleted, associated cloud records are deleted unless retention is required by law, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or store transaction requirements.
Revision Loop is intended for students, but it should not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required by law. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information, they can contact us to request deletion.
Revision Loop uses authentication and Supabase row-level security to help protect user data. No system is perfectly secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect stored study materials and account data.
