Coldistic Profile
Lucas B. (born: January 26, 2006 [age 15]), better known online as Reverse Steve And Coldistic , is a French YouTuber and Photographer. Coldistic is a YouTube channel where Minecraft Shorts, Memes, build hacks and life hacks will be uploaded. This is due because the channel Reverse Steve is a tutorial channel and it is not a #SHORTS or Memes channel so that kind of content can't be posted on Reverse Steve. Coldistic is a YouTube Shorts channel and is known as Reverse Steve's second channel but can also be known as 2 different YouTubers because there is no link, post or video saying that Coldistic is a second channel or the main.
Coldistic will be mainly a Minecraft Meme channel such as ("Minecraft Logic Be Like", "Will This Do 'Something' To That" or "Did you know that"). Due to a higher demand of Minecraft Shorts and overall #SHORTS it is logical to make that kind of videos. Coldistic makes Shorts on Minecraft logic (Bugs) and build hacks / life hacks. The real difference between Shorts and a normal video is that in a matter of 10 minute a short with no views in the past 48 hours can get 100K in one hour, we can see this when Coldistic got 1000 subscribers in 3 hours.
First, Shorts is a great way to crate an audience if you don't have much time to make long-form content, you can make a Short in 20 minutes (Record, Edit and Post) which removes the stress of editing a video for hours. Shorts also bring a new audience so even if there is around 1000 new Minecraft shorts on build hacks per day Shorts appear randomly in the home page and under videos with a similar topic, This insures that all Short creators gets a different audience meaning even if you make a video with the same information no one person will see both videos and one creator won't get less views because of someone's ease video.
YouTube Shorts can be about any topic except complicated tutorials because you can't go back in the shorts shelf, the best performing Short videos are mainly anything that is funny, we can take Coldistic's villager logic video that got 230K in 3 hours, the video was about something broken, the Minecraft villagers. But there also was a building hack video that got 92K in 5 hours, Minecraft Shorts one of most popular Short type, but there is also a lot of competition to get those ~100K views, Shorts more like DIY and memes in the "Real World" are more popular then Minecraft shorts because there is less of them so there is less recycling of content and the Short will stay longer to the YouTube audience on the home screen.
As of the Windows 10 launch on October 5 2021 Coldistic decided it was a good idea to make Tutorial on the new OS.

"YouTube Is A Video Game. Just Beat It"
"Don't Subscribe If You Will Unsubscribe"
- Is Coldistic a main channel or the second channel?
- Shorts does not contribute to watch time so how will Coldistic will introduce long form content ?
