This Privacy Policy explains how Reverse Audio (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) handles information when you use our mobile application.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Reverse Audio is designed to let you record, import, edit, reverse, and export audio while keeping your audio content on your device whenever possible.
When you use Reverse Audio, you may choose to:
Import audio files from your device.
Record audio using your device microphone.
Trim or edit audio clips.
Reverse audio.
Adjust playback speed.
Export or share audio files.
Your audio recordings and imported audio files are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers by the App.
We do not access or collect audio files unless you choose to provide them to the App through its features.
If you use the recording feature, Reverse Audio requests access to your device microphone.
Microphone access is used solely to record audio that you choose to create within the App.
You can control microphone access through your device settings.
When you import an audio file, the App accesses the file you select for the purpose of processing and editing that audio.
The App does not access unrelated files on your device.
Subject to the actual features and third-party services used by your version of the App, Reverse Audio does not require you to create an account and does not intentionally collect:
Your name
Your email address
Your phone number
Your contacts
Your precise location
Your photos or videos
Your browsing history
Your personal messages
Your passwords
Information and content accessed by Reverse Audio is used only to provide the App's functionality, including:
Recording audio.
Importing audio files.
Processing and reversing audio.
Trimming audio clips.
Adjusting playback speed.
Playing audio.
Exporting processed audio.
Sharing audio when you choose to use the sharing feature.
Improving the reliability and functionality of the App, where applicable.
We do not sell your personal information.
Reverse Audio is designed to process your audio locally on your device.
Your recordings and imported audio files are not transmitted to our servers for processing unless a future feature specifically states otherwise and obtains any required permissions or consent.
Because audio processing occurs on your device, we do not have access to the contents of your recordings or imported audio files.
Reverse Audio allows you to share or export audio using sharing features provided by your device.
When you choose to share an audio file, the file is transferred according to the destination and sharing method you select.
We do not control how a third-party service handles information after you choose to share it with that service. You should review the privacy practices of the service you choose to use.
The App may use Apple-provided services and other third-party services required to provide specific functionality.
If third-party services collect information through the App, their collection and use of information may be governed by their respective privacy policies.
We will only use third-party services that are necessary for the operation, security, analytics, advertising, subscriptions, or improvement of the App, as applicable.
Any third-party service integrated into the App may process information according to its own privacy practices and applicable agreements.
If analytics or crash-reporting services are enabled in the App, limited technical or diagnostic information may be collected to help us understand crashes, improve performance, and maintain the App.
Such information may include technical information such as:
App version
Operating system version
Device type
Crash information
Performance information
General usage information
We do not use diagnostic information to access the contents of your audio recordings.
If your current version of Reverse Audio does not use any analytics or crash-reporting SDK, remove this section from the published policy.
Reverse Audio does not sell your personal information.
If the App displays third-party advertising, this section must be updated to describe the advertising provider, advertising identifiers, tracking practices, and applicable user choices.
If no advertising is used, no advertising-related personal information is collected through the App.
If Reverse Audio offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, payments are processed through Apple's App Store payment system.
We do not receive or store your complete payment card information.
Apple may process purchase information in accordance with Apple's privacy practices.
Audio files imported into or created by Reverse Audio are stored on your device according to the App's functionality and your device's storage settings.
We do not retain copies of your audio files on our servers.
You can remove audio files from the App or your device using the available deletion and file-management features.
If diagnostic or analytics information is collected by third-party services, that information may be retained according to the applicable provider's policies.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App.
Because Reverse Audio primarily processes audio locally on your device, your audio recordings and imported audio files remain under your control unless you choose to export or share them.
However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Reverse Audio is not intended to collect personal information from children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
You can control the permissions granted to Reverse Audio through your device settings.
You can:
Enable or disable microphone access.
Manage access to files and media.
Delete audio files stored by the App.
Stop using the App at any time.
Delete the App from your device.
If the App processes audio locally and does not maintain server-side accounts or audio storage, there is generally no server-side audio account to request deletion from.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our services, technology, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
