REVELATION TO ADAM
Revelation given August 25th, 2004, through Rev. Dr. David Durgan to Adam Sheffield by the power of the Holy Ghost and the gift of Prophecy. Utter while leading service as the Spirit dictated.
1 God is about to transfer wealth into the hands of the righteous. All the wealth that the sinners have been accruing is going to come back to the believers, and we are entering into that season now.
2 The best thing for you to do now is to get right with God, start giving into the kingdom of God, and live for Him and start to allow and begin to give in to the kingdom of God and that will open doors for you to receive all - more than enough.
3 Death and life is in the power of the tongue. As a man sows, so shall he reap thereof. The Spirit of a man is nourished by the fruit of his lips, while the faithless shall in violence devour their own soul. Proverbs 13:2.
4 Some of you have seed out there that is dormant because you are not speaking over it, you're not believing, you're saying the wrong things and not allowing your seed to grow.
5 Do you know what gives the word life? Speaking over it with the holy spirit coming through you by your spirit!
6 The scriptures say the Spirit is subject to the prophet. Who is the prophet? That is you! Through Joel, He said, "In the Last Days I shall pour out my Spirit upon all flesh and your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams. Halleluia! Glory be to Jesus!
7 Do you know that the modern believer has all the power of the old testament prophets put together? Jesus said that the least that is now in the kingdom of God, having the Holy Spirit in his heart, is as great as the greatest of the prophets who have ever lived.
8 Why? Because they have the power of God on the inside of them and what they do and what they say can come to pass if they will word it. Read Psalm 112.
9 I am going to speak specifically to Adam right now. Adam, God's got financial blessings for you in an area in which you have need, so you can pay for it.
10 God's going to give you a lump sum that you have need of and he's going to do it miraculously. God is going to bring something into your life where he'll want you to sow a seed.
11 Jesus told his disciples "Ye have need of a seed." It's the law of genesis; everything in life is seedtime and harvest. If you put your faith in and give to God, God is going to reap upon you a harvest that you have need of, to bring you out of your circumstances.
12 The thing that you can do is get your life in alignment with the body of Christ. Get into the church and start getting what God's money is. Start giving to the Lord and help build the Kingdom of God.
13 There are two areas where you can build the kingdom of God: There's yourself and your finances.
14 Because God wants to take what you have to offer and turn around and bless you back with what you give to him.
15 As Paul says in his Second Epistle to the Corinthians 9:6: Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion,
16 For God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written: They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.
17 Every time I could give to the Lord, I'd give to the Lord and in a short time, I'd start reaping the harvest. And the blood of the lamb would make me the overcomer.
Psalm 112
1 Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands.
2 Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches are in their houses, and their righteousness endures forever.
4 Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
5 Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.
6 Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever.
7 They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
8 Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.
9 They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor, their righteousness endures forever; their horn[c] will be lifted high in honor.
10 The wicked will see and be vexed, they will gnash their teeth and waste away; the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.
