Session Overview

On a Brew Crew months ago, Katie was telling a story about how one of her students told her the library was old and sad. Kristy piped in telling the Crew that her collection was straight and white. And Erin laughed and laughed. And the seed was planted. All three of us have had to take school libraries from OSSW to better - with nothing but a couple of dollars and our desire to make our libraries the best we could possibly make them. We realize that will look different for everyone, but the tricks we have learned will help some librarians and we are happy to share them.

In this workshop and on these pages, we will walk you through taking a hard look at your library as it stands right now. Then we will help you see where your library should or could be. Finally, we will share resources that will help you get there.
