ReturnGuard: Refund Reminder (“ReturnGuard”, “we”, “our”, or “the app”) is designed to help users track purchase return deadlines, receipts, refund status, warranty dates, and reminder notifications.

Purchase data, return deadlines, receipt images, warranty details, notes, and reminder information are stored on your device.
We do not operate a user account system, backend server, or cloud sync for this version of the app. Your purchase and receipt information is not uploaded to our servers.
ReturnGuard may include receipt scanning to help extract information such as store name or price from receipt images.
Receipt scanning is processed on your device using on-device machine learning technology. Receipt images are not sent to our servers or to third-party cloud services for scanning.
ReturnGuard may show insights or coaching suggestions based on your locally stored purchase and return information.
For this version of the app, these insights are generated from information stored on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
ReturnGuard uses local system notifications to remind you before return windows or warranty periods expire.
Notifications are used only for reminder functionality. We do not use external push notification services to track your behavior.
If you choose to upgrade to a premium version, the payment transaction is processed by Google Play.
We do not receive or store your credit card information. Google Play may provide the app with purchase status information needed to unlock premium features.
ReturnGuard does not sell your data.
For this version of the app, we do not share your purchase details, receipt images, return history, warranty information, or notes with third parties.
ReturnGuard may request device permissions needed for app functionality, such as:

ReturnGuard stores app data locally on your device. The security of locally stored data depends partly on your device security settings. We recommend using a passcode, PIN, fingerprint, or other device lock.
