This Privacy Policy applies to the Retro AI mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy through industry-leading data practices. By using the application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
To provide our retro-styling services, the application may access:
User-Selected Images: Photos you choose from your gallery or capture via the camera specifically for AI styling.
Usage Data: Anonymous information regarding which features (e.g., "70s" and "90s") are most popular.
Technical Data: Device model and OS version to ensure app stability and performance.
Your Photos Never Leave Your Device: Unlike many AI applications, Retro AI processes your images locally on your hardware.
No Server Uploads: Your photos are not uploaded to our servers for AI processing. The transformation happens entirely within the Retro AI app on your mobile device via the Gemini API.
No Cloud Storage: Since processing is local, we do not store your original or generated photos on our servers.
Images: As we do not upload your photos to our servers, we do not retain any copies of your images. All generated content remains in your device's local storage or app sandbox.
Account Data: If you create an account for subscription management, we retain only the minimum information necessary to maintain your Pro status.
We use a limited number of trusted partners for non-image data:
Payment Processing: Transactions are handled exclusively by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We never see or store your credit card details.
Analytics: We may use anonymized analytics to track app crashes and performance trends.
Retro AI does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Because processing is local, we do not build databases of user imagery.
You maintain full control over your data, including the right to:
Revoke photo library or camera permissions at any time via device settings.
Opt-out of anonymous analytics.
Cancel your subscription through your app store account.
