The Retired Nurses of Northern Arizona group (formerly NARNIA) meets monthly in various locations including Cottonwood, Sedona, Camp Verde, Flagstaff and Prescott. Our meetings feature nursing education and lunch (sometimes catered, sometimes bring your own). We also do community projects such as COVID injections, COVID information hotline volunteers, scholarships for nursing students, home visits for shut ins, support for indigent children and homeless women.
NARNIA - Northern Arizona Retired Nurses In Action
2005 Feb. was the beginning of our retired nurses group. There were four of us from our neighborhood having lunch together. Soon there were those who joined us and our group started to grow. We now number 90 (as of March, 2016) and are from all over the world. by Carol Bryant - Founder
