Murder Mystery
AUDITIONS

What to prepare:
* Prepare a reading from one of the following excerpts of a script
* You do not need to be memorized
* You may be asked to read additional excerpts as chosen by the director
What we are looking for: This murder mystery is a one night event set to perform at Four Rivers Cultural Center as part of their evening gala event. There is no singing in this production (as of this moment). The play has several roles with a wide variety of characteristics and descriptions. EVERYONE is welcome to join us for this production.
Rehearsals: If cast, you are making a commitment to attend all rehearsals you are requested to attend. A great deal of effort goes into creating a schedule that respects everyone's time. Not everyone will be required at every rehearsal. Please be respectful of EVERYONE's time by being present when needed. If you have a conflict please let the director (Sterling) know ASAP!
Rehearsals will be announced when a I know who the cast will be and what their conflicts are. In general, rehearsals will be week nights with a few Saturdays for choreography. All rehearsals will take place at The Venue. Because of the nature of this, rehearsals will be MINIMAL, but still necessary for a successful event.

TIPS FOR AUDTIONEES:
1. Project your voice as if you were on the largest of stages (even though you will be close to the Artistic and Music Directors).
2. Use clear diction with good enunciation/articulation.
3. Feel free to move.
4. Project your personality
5. Relax and have fun! We will see you at your best if you do so. We want to enjoy the auditions, and we want you to enjoy your audition, too.
