In Switzerland, there is a shortage of medical professionals, creating a need for foreign-trained workers. With less than half of the medical field being women, despite 60.4% of medical graduates being female, there is concern that women in Switzerland may be leaving the medical field at a disproportionately higher rate than their male counterparts, worsening the shortage.
