App name: ResuVee : Resume & CV Builder (“ResuVee”, “we”, “us”)
This Privacy Policy explains how ResuVee collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile application.
1) Summary (plain English)
ResuVee is offline-first: your resumes and cover letters are stored on your device.
We do not require account registration.
We may show ads using Google AdMob and may request consent using Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP).
When you export or share files, you control where they are sent using your device’s share sheet.
2) Information you provide
ResuVee processes information you enter into the app, which may include:
Resume content (name, email, phone, address, work history, education, skills, etc.)
Cover letter content
Optional profile photo you choose to attach to a resume
Any custom sections and notes you add
Where it’s stored: This content is stored locally on your device (e.g., in app storage). We do not operate a backend database for your resume content.
3) Information collected automatically (Ads & diagnostics)
Depending on your consent settings and device configuration, third-party ad providers may collect information to provide ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud.
Google AdMob & UMP (Consent)
We use:
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show banner and rewarded ads
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage consent where required
Google may collect and process:
Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID, where available)
IP address, approximate location (derived from IP)
Ad interaction events (impressions, clicks)
Device and app information (OS version, app version, language)
Fraud prevention signals

4) Exports and sharing
ResuVee can generate and export:
PDF files
Word (.docx) files
When you tap Download or Share, the file is created on-device and then:
Saved to your device storage (download), and/or
Shared via your device’s share sheet to apps/services you select (share)
We do not control the privacy practices of apps/services you choose via the share sheet (email providers, messaging apps, cloud storage, etc.).
5) Photos and device permissions
If you add a profile photo, ResuVee may request permission to:
Access your photo library/gallery
Use the camera (if you choose to take a new photo)
Photos you select are stored locally on your device as part of the resume profile photo feature.
6) Purchases and payments
ResuVee may offer features unlocked via ads (rewarded). If you add in-app purchases in the future, app stores (Google Play / Apple App Store) will handle payment processing under their policies.
7) How we use information
We use information to:
Provide resume and cover letter creation, editing, previews, and exports
Store your content locally and restore it when you reopen the app
Show ads and manage consent (when enabled)
Improve stability and diagnose issues (limited to what the OS / SDKs provide)
8) How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information:
With ad/consent providers (e.g., Google) for ad delivery, measurement, and consent compliance
When you choose to share an exported file through the share sheet to third-party apps
9) Data retention
Your resumes/cover letters remain on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app.
Ad-related data retention is governed by Google’s policies.
10) Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a local, offline-first app. However, no method of storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device and any exported files you share.
11) Children’s privacy
ResuVee is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12) International users
If you use ResuVee outside your country, third-party services (like Google) may process data on servers in other countries under their policies.
13) Your choices
Consent: You can manage ad consent in-app (where available) and/or via your device settings.
Advertising ID: You can reset/limit ad tracking from your device settings (availability varies by OS/version).
Delete content: Delete resumes in-app or uninstall the app to remove locally stored data.
14) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or store listing.
