Geomatics engineer. She hold a Master in geographic engineer and geoinformatics from University of Lisbon and a PhD in Geography and Territorial Planning, specialization in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems from NOVA University of Lisbon.

Presently, she has been consultant for the SIARL project through NOVA.ID.FCT of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. She is esearch collaborator in DroneWater - High Resolution UAV Imagery Applied to Water Management, project of CERIS Research Centre at IST, Universidade Técnica de Lisboa.

Collaborator researcher at CICS.NOVA, in the Modelling and Planning Systems group at the Faculty Social Sciences and Humanities, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.

She was Deputy Technical Director at the National Land Registry System Project of East-Timor (2014 - 2020).

Experience in teaching as lecturer in Geomatics-related courses, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), FOSS GIS, and Digital Photogrammetry in different higher education institutions.

Current research interests include Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry, geographical databases, Geographic Information Systems, UAV systems, and 3D Modelling.
