This unit focuses on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action.  The purpose of this unit is to:

1) Explain the differences and similarities between Climate and Weather.

2) Explain what is climate change and how does it affect life on Earth.

3) Explain how humans have caused climate change and what can we do to reverse the changes that are happening.

This unit focuses on United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.  The purpose of these lessons is to:

1. investigate the world

2. learn about different cultures

3. communicate ideas

4. take action to make communities stronger

5. develop a personal geographic framework 

6. understand the uses of maps and other "geo-graphics"

7. develop positive attitudes towards themselves and others
