Please consider contacting Common Council members and the mayor to ask that a feasibility study be completed so any permanent decisions will be informed ones. A sample email is provided below.
What is a feasibility study?
A feasibility study is a highly detailed analysis of a particular project, including different options. In this case of removing or keeping a dam, a feasibility study would give everyone specific information about environmental, technical, logistical, and financial aspects of different scenarios. It would answer many questions we'd likely not know to ask. A feasibility study is not a commitment to dam removal. It's a tool for informed decision making.
