Venue

The workshop is going to take place in Mas Corominola, a casa rural close to Olot.

The dates are 10-13 October, but we have the house already for the night of 10 Oct (from 17.30). We'd advise you to arrive on the 10th, so that we can start workshopping on Friday (11 Oct) in the morning (because of the bus schedules, it's difficult to arrive at the house early in the morning).

On Sunday the 13th, the last day of the workshop, we're planning to have only a short morning session so it will be possible to catch afternoon flights back home. That said, we have the casa until the early evening, so everybody's welcome to enjoy the La Garrotxian countryside until 17.30 or whenever their transportation departs.

We will organise trips to nearby sights, such as the volcano on the homepage (6km from casa rural).

Travel

Olot can be reached by bus from Barcelona and also from Girona. We'd recommend the bus company Teisa, they offer many options for both routes throughout the day. From Olot, the venue is only accessible by foot. According to google maps, it's a short 30 minutes walk from the bus station.

Approximate costs

- Bus, round trip: 30€ from BCN, 15€ from Girona

- Accommodation: 80-100€ (depending on the final number of participants)

- Further, unspecified costs: food, drinks

Note: All participants will receive a participation certificate from one of our sponsoring universities. This means one can potentially be reimbursed from their host university//project.
