Resources for Kentucky and the Appalachian region

Many educators from Kentucky and the Appalachian region, who participate in the National Science Foundation's Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) or Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) programs, embark on a journey of profound curriculum development. Their process is enriched by their enlightening summer experiences. The meticulously constructed class blueprints that result are shared within the established RET and REU networks, serving as priceless resources for fellow education professionals within Kentucky, the Appalachian region, and beyond. In addition, these dedicated educators have the privilege to showcase the fruits of their research during an intellectual end-of-summer scholarly dialogue. This vibrant collaboration aligns perfectly with the strategic aims highlighted in the NSF's RET and REU solicitations, endorsing the nurturing and proliferation of such pioneering educational resources.
