Karinne is an educator, creative and business owner whose career spans education, the arts, leadership and personal development. A former primary headteacher with over twenty years' experience in education, she brings both creativity and rigor to her work with children.
Driven by a curiosity about people and learning, Karinne has pursued a varied career. She is a former professional dancer who began her career in education teaching classical ballet, jazz and tap while studying design at undergraduate level and completing a Master of Teaching.
Alongside her work in education, Karinne is a keynote speaker and storyteller who has performed on stage in London's West End and won The Moth storytelling competition. She has facilitated storytelling workshops for students at the inclusive Chicken Shed Theatre and has worked with the charity Teach a Man to Fish, supporting young people to develop entrepreneurial skills and launch their own businesses.
A senior leader for over a decade, Karinne is the former Head of Training at one of the UK's largest literacy training providers. She is also the founder of a personal development company and regularly facilitates workshops for audiences ranging from business founders to women's circles. An active member of several women's networks across London, she is passionate about creating learning experiences that are engaging, meaningful and accessible.
A lifelong learner herself, Karinne's interests span education, psychology, creativity and wellbeing. She believes learning should inspire curiosity, encourage independent thinking and equip young people with the confidence to engage meaningfully with the world around them.
She brings a breadth of experience to her work, creating enriching, project-based educational experiences that extend beyond the curriculum and support both intellectual and personal growth.
